MS had their work cut out for them in their 11th game of the season as they looked to bounce back out of the relegation zone. MS are currently 15th on the table standings and look to improve their situation by getting maximum points from the remainder of the matches.

MS faced Millat FC, a veteran in the league, playing a similar style of football as MS with a 4-3-3. As both the teams had similar ideas of playing football, it came down to who did better. The game started with both the teams having their share of the possession as they looked to build out. Millat being a little shaky at the back while building out was an opportunity for MS to exploit. Although the team created some opportunities and put in some quality crosses in the first 20 minutes. Those crosses started to fade out as Millat got their heads back in the game. While the opponents were shaky at the back , MS faced some hurdles of their own as they weren't clinical enough in front of goal but were strong like a mountain at the back. While Millat looked fierce on their counter attack, the MS defence shut them down as they kept the scoreline 0-0 at the break.

The second half was more of the same story as MS were missing chances in front of goal, it gave their opponents the well needed confidence to keep themselves in the game. The first goal by Millat came in the second half as the player was offside but the pass took a deflection off center back Madhusudan Phadale putting the Millat striker in a 1v1 against the keeper which he scored. MS failed to come back in the game as they failed to test the keeper in the second half. The second goal for Millat came in the dying minutes of the second half as their winger won the ball back from winger Darshan Jagtap and put in a misdirected cross which came to the near post and caught our keeper on the wrong side. The final scoreline was 2-0. MS look to take on IR - Rhema SF on 10th may at 4:30 at Neville D'souza Football Ground, bandra.
