In the third match of the Elite Division campaign, Kenkre FC ran riot with a 3-0 victory while not leaving the Strikers any chance of even a consolation goal.MS lost the plot entirely and were also marred by an injury early in the game.

The first 20 minutes since kick off belonged to MS as they created multiple chances towards the goal, keeping the Kenkre defense on their toes. There has been a la ck of firepower in front of the goal for MS and it reflected yet again in this encounter. However, there was a huge transition in the game as the tables turned and Kenkre took charge of proceedings. They were rampant and took the early lead after creating a brilliant move from the right wing which opened up the MS defense. The chance was well converted after beating MS custodian Abhishek S. MS tried to get back with a neat response through MS forward Akshay M whose exquisite volley was well saved by the Kenkre Goalkeeper who kept it 1-0 at the break.

Kenkre FC stepped in with more aggression and disturbed the MS defense in the initial moments of the second half. They netted their second goal while the MS Centre Backs were off position and doubled their lead. MS looked to pull back the lead when again Akshay M had an attempt on goal but was denied yet again by a flamboyant save. In another quick change of momentum, Kenkre FC were awarded a penalty on the other side after the MS defender pushed him in an aerial tackle while contesting a header. However, MS Keeper Abhishek S pulled off a double save to keep MS in the hunt. Minutes later the effort proved to be futile as Kenkre FC dumped in the third one past Abhishek after an error in the defensive third. The final whistle signalled the second successive defeat for MS.

The loss leaves a lot to think about for the remainder of the season in terms of players and strategy for the entire MS camp.
