MS recorded a remarkable victory against PIFA in the ninth game of the elite division campaign. MS were drawn against a young and energetic PIFA. The game was expected to be eventful as both teams vied for the top spot on the table.

In a rare start to the game, MS stunned the opponents with the first goal in a matter of seconds. While that happened, PIFA did not even manage to get close to the ball. Amit Koli's exquisite through ball trespassed the PIFA defense and set up well for Ravish D who chipped it into the goal. Moving ahead in the game, MS continued their onslaught by creating numerous chances. MS could have doubled their lead as Ravish rose high to slot a powerfull header via a corner, but was denied by a goal line clearance. MS created several chances and piled on the pressure. However, the chances went down the drain and MS did not find their second goal for a while. In another incident of the game, MS winger Dilip Manoharans exquisite run down the wing resulted in his shot being parried by the Pifa goalkeeper. The rebound fell to Rishabh V in the six yard box who missed out on doubling the lead after his shot was blocked by the PIFA defender on the goal line. PIFA were unable to get their game going as MS interfered with every creative move by them. The first half belonged to MS as they dominated the field and the score board with a 1-0 scoreline.

MS walked in with the intention to double their lead in the second half. However, PIFA seemed much organised and were able to hold on to possession. MS head coach Maclin D'penha decided to use his subs to infuse more energy in the game. Himesh M came in for Naren & Akshay M for Dilip. PIFA were able to hold on to possession in midfield but were unable to find their strikers as MS were rock solid at the back. D'penha' substitutions proved to be a boon as super sub Akshay M doubled their lead through a marvelous diving header via an equally exquisite cross from left back Himesh M. In stoppage time, Akshay M scored his second and MS' third of the game and left PIFA at a point of no return. All three points were pocketed and MS hold a strong position on the table. Along with a string of goals, MS were defensively solid with a clean sheet in the books.

The next game against Iron Born - CFCI will be exciting as MS are in top form and would want to continue in the same manner.
