Mumbai Strikers SC Forward Akshay Devadiga was declared the Best Striker of the Super Division at the MDFA Awards Night that was held on 13th May 2017. The awards night was attended by eminent dignitaries from the football fraternity and Bollywood as well.

Akshay D had a wonderful season with 5 goals and 10 assists to his tally. He literally spearheaded the attacking department for most of the season and guided MS to the playoff and eventually gain the third position in the Super Division. MS Goalkeeper Abhishek Singh was also nominated in the Best Goalkeeper category of the Super Division.

MS congratulate Akshay Devadiga on achieving this feat and hope that he grabs more such accolades in the years to come.
