Head Coach Sandeep Singh introduced the newly recruited striker Sandeep Manoharan in the second fixture against Companeroes SC in the last 15 minutes of the second half. 19 year old Sandeep has played with the youth I-League teams of clubs like Kenkre FC and Ozone FC which is a feather on his cap at an early stage.

Sandeep M has a very strong presence on the field and was effective in the amount of play time he received in the match against Companeroes SC. His physical attributes and decent speed combine well to make a good striker. Sandeep M is yet to open his account in terms of goal scoring, but his attacking mindset and intent of getting the goals is very clear.

Dilip M and Sandeep M, who are new additions to this years Elite team of the Mumbai Strikers are the sons of Mr Parasuram Manoharan, an Ex-Indian International Player who has represented top clubs like East Bengal and Dempo SC. With a bloodline that belongs to football, we hope Dilip and Sandeep strike well for this years Elite Division campaign.
