MS were held for a 1-1 draw by Companeroes SC in the second match of the Mumbai Elite Division season.

Companeroes drew first blood in the 11th minute as some shoddy defending by MS opened up space for the opponent winger to find his striker unmarked in the D-box, who finished it with a sublime low shot to the far post. MS restored parity in the 24th minute as a sublime pass by Amit Koli put Jay Wadhwa through on goal with only the keeper to beat. Jay slid it to the far side of the onrushing keeper to register his second goal of the season in consecutive starts. MS looked for the winner but were denied by the Companeroes defense on several occasions.

The match ended at 1-1 to Companeroes' relief as both teams settled for a point each.

MS look forward to their next encounter versus Millat FC to get back to winning ways.
