After miscuing several chances, MS drew with Millat FC in the third match of the Elite Division campaign. Despite scoring very early in the game, MS gave away the equaliser in the dying minutes of the first half.

MS scored their first in the 9th minute through a simple tap in by midfielder Abhijeet S. However, a defensive error in their own half was capitalised well by Millat FC to make it even before half time.

The second half was dominated by the Strikers, but their chances on goal went down the drain on several occasions. Millat FC also came close to scoring the winner but failed to convert as well. With ten mins remaining in the game, MS had to incur a red card in the form of midfielder Shrinath Gite. Shrinath was given marching orders after having two yellow cards against his name. For the final ten minutes MS, held fort with ten men and managed to keep the score at 1-1 till the final whistle.

With a win and two draws, MS have started the season decently. However, there is much room for improvement as tough draws await in the long season.
