In another Palava's Premiership Football League match, Mumbai Strikers SC recorded a second straight win against Mumbra FC.

The teams were well balanced in all departments but Mumbra FC were a tough nut to crack. MS were equally competitive throughout and they gained the lead in the first half itself through Reuel K who netted his second goal of the tournament. Mumbra FC also came very close to scoring when one of their moves ended up hitting the crossbar and back into play. MS then gained an unassailable lead when super sub Arsalan H scored the second goal ten minutes before the end of regulation time.

MS put up a commendable performance as they won 2-0 and also maintained a clean sheet.
