The 10th of September was a sparkling night for the players of the Senior Mens Football Team of the Mumbai Strikers Sports Club as they grabbed several honours at the FCM Awards Night 2016 hosted by the FC of Mumbaikars team based in Andheri. The event was held at the Ballroom of the Kamal Amrohi Studios at Andheri where players from the FCM academy and teams associated with FCM were felicitated for their stellar performances last season.
From among several nominations MS players won the following awards:

Best Striker (Union SC / MSSC / Overall) - Ravish D'souza
Best Midfielder (Union SC) - Rohit D'souza
Best Midfielder (MSSC & Overall) - Abhijeet Shetty
Best Defender (MSSC) - Rakesh Patne
Best Defender (Union SC / MSSC / Overall) - Arnold Mascarenhas
Best Goalkeeper (Overall) - Leon Menezes
