After a marvellous run of unbeaten games, MS recorded their fourth loss on the trot in the Elite Division Season. Beginning with Kenkre FC, MS fell to consecutive defeats against UMumba, FSI Sea View and the most recent PIFA. Owing to misfiring attackers and some shaky defending, MS were on the downside of a 3-1 scoreline against PIFA.

Post kickoff, MS swayed in great shape by keeping the ball and built some pressure in PIFAs defensive third on several occasions. However, no clear chances were created to score. PIFA on the other side were not clinical either, with only a couple of shots on target before half time.

The second half had other plans for MS as PIFA looked more of a refreshed side with a change in operations. They took the task onto the MS defense and went on to score 2 goals in a span of 3 minutes. MS completely lost the plot from here with no response for the next few minutes. PIFA capitalised on yet another error in the MS midfield as they sealed the game with a third goal. Paddling to find a response and avoiding a clean sheet, MS midfielder Himesh Mistry pulled one back with a magnificent strike to end the match at 3-1.
