MS faced FSI - Seaview FC in their ninth match of the ongoing Mumbai Football League's Elite Division season on the 19th of February at the new Neville D'souza Football ground, Bandra.
MS had a different lineup going in versus FSI as injuries and suspensions took its toll. MS were against a young FSI team who had drawn with CFCI in their previous match, whereas MS were looking to bounce back from their defeat to U Mumba. MS had the majority of chances in the first half but failed to capitalise on the possession and chances created.
MS were down 2-0 in the second half as FSI caught them napping. MS responded late with a penalty strike by Rakesh Patne. But it was too little too late as the match ended 2-1 to FSI - Seaview FC. MS have conceded three defeats in a row and will look to bounce back versus PIFA in their next match on the 25th of february.
