In another agonising match, MS found themselves on the flipside of the results as Judean United beat them by a narrow 1-0 scoreline in the fifth game of the Palava Premiership Football League.

Things looked better as MS had a chance right at the start. Akshay D missed a simple tap-in from the six yard box and failed to find the net. However, Judean United grabbed the limelight immediately in the 6th minute by taking the lead. MS Keeper Vatsal B failed to collect the aerial ball that was sent into the penalty area and to his misfortune directly landed at the feet of the Judean striker who simply tapped it in the nets. Into halftime MS trailed 1-0.

The morale seemed high as MS kept harassing the Judean defense for an equaliser. Defiant clearances of the line and shots hitting the crossbar, denied MS the vital equaliser. Judean United walked home with three precious points as MS were left hanging in the balance and Coach Firmin D’souza, a lot to ponder upon.
