Goals win you matches and eventually championships ! The Mumbai Strikers made full use of its ammunition this season as they fired in 36 goals and sat right at the top as the highest scoring team in the Division One of the MFL. The attacking group were on their toes all through the season and the numbers this season are proof that they can pose serious threats to teams next season in the Super Division.

Ravish D’souza topped the scoring charts for the team with 18 goals in his 11 appearances, one short of his tally last season. Supporting Ravish D in the attack, Akshay Devadiga fired in 5 this season in his 9 appearances. His performance this season was impressive considering his long term distance from the sport due to injury. Midfielders Abhijit S and Sagar S pooled in 2 each in the total tally. The midfielders have scored few goals but ones that came when the team needed it the most. Pranav M, Rohit D, Saurabh S, Aditya S and Vernon S added one each in the season goals total. Pranav M, Rohit D and Saurabh S scored goals of high quality which were a treat to the eye while Sagar S, Vernon S and Aditya S scored for MS in their debut season which is a great start for them with the team.
