Firmin Dsouza appointed new coach of Mumbai Strikers

Mumbai Strikers is delighted to announce the appointment of Firmin Dsouza as First Team Manager.

Dsouza has signed a one-year contract and will lead the club for the upcoming Mumbai Football League Division I Championship.

Rohit Dsouza, Mumbai Strikers SC Chief Executive, said: 'I am delighted to welcome Firmin to Mumbai Strikers. His Knowledge, drive, vision and ambition made him the outstanding candidate.

'It is our aim to keep the club moving forward to achieve greater success in the future and Firmin is our number one choice as we believe he is the right manager to do just that.

'He is qualified and is striving to improve his credentials and everyone here looks forward to working with him.'

The 29-year-old D'souza has worked with UEFA ‘A’ License Coaches at Bolton Wanderers, premier League FC, England in 2009. He holds a UEFA ‘B’ 1st4sport FA Level 3 coaching certificate.   .

He brings one coaching staff with him in Raymond Barnes, who carries the title of Assistant First Team Coach and will work alongside him with the current first team.
