Mumbai Strikers renews collaboration with Sporting Mulund FC

After announcing the strategic tie up with First Division club Anstrengung United last month, Mumbai Strikers officially have renewed their tie up with Sporting Mulund FC for a period of 5 years upto 2025, Sporting Mulund is one of the thirteen clubs from North East Mumbai plying it's trade in the Mumbai Football League. The clubs currently in the Third Division.

Sporting Mulund FC was established in the year 2013 and have since then been regularly competing in the Mumbai Football League and several other tournaments around the city. The club began with founding members having their roots in Mulund. Sporting Mulund's philosophy is to provide players from the mulund region an opportunity to get into competitive football. The Mumbai Strikers has been in collaboration with Sporting Mulund since 2015 onwards. This collaboration has helped in scouting players like Sagar Sadadekar, Manthan Mehta and Rohit Vishwakarma who have all gone on to ply their trade with the Mumbai Strikers First Team.

The collaboration will ensure Mumbai Strikers Performance Academy recruits (MSPA) get a stepwise approach to getting into competitive football. “This is a huge tie up and will go a long way as it creates an inflow and outflow of players in the team. While we provide a chance to youngsters on the MDFA platform, we also will create players for the First team of Mumbai Strikers. Our main focus will be to give the academy players game time and increase their competitive quotient and playing experience” said Saurabh Keni who has recently been promoted as the head of the MSPA.
