The Indian Women’s Rugby team will take part in the Asian Rugby Sevens Trophy which will be held at Chaoanuvong Stadium located in Laos. The tournament will be held on the 17th and 18th of February 2017 and the squad will go under the guidance of Head Coach Nasser Hussain with his assistant Rehmuddin Shaikh.

Ruchi Shetty has yet again made it to the squad and will make her second trip abroad with the team. Apart from Vahbiz Bharucha, Ruchi is the only one to be selected from the state of Maharashtra.
