In a first of its kind, Mumbai Strikers Founder Mr. Rohit D’souza conducted an informative basic coaching program for budding coaches from the community on the 13th & 14th of December 2014.

The clinic was aimed at spreading basic knowledge of coaching among people who aspire to be coaches in the future. The program was focussed mainly on the fundamental characteristics of coaching and the values one needs to inculcate as a coach. Further it emphasized on how to design a session and what activities should be involved so that the session has the correct game approach. The training program covered all aspects of being a good coach as the coaches were also made to conduct on the field trainings with kids.

Adding to this, Rohit D also shared tips on how to conduct sporting events in order to increase the awareness among people who would want to conduct events later.

Rohit D also said that he will be conducting more of such clinics in the year to come.
