Lanster Fernandes and Nigel Pinto made their debut for Mumbai Strikers in the playoff against Mumbai Port Trust.

Lanster who is a former Central bank of India player, plays as a forward. His quick feet makes his presence felt in front of defenders who find it tough to deal with Lanster.

Nigel did his MFL Debut with MS. He is athletic and good in the air. In the game against Mumbai Port Trust, Lanster scored his debut goal for MS with a cool tap-in from inside the six yard box. Nigel too gave a strong performance as a Central Defensive Midfielder.
