Karan Punjwani, Rayan Thomas, Akshay Saraf and Aniket Mishra made their debut for Mumbai Strikers in the season opener against Khalsa Gymkhana.

Akshay who is a former Kenkre U-17 player, plays as a striker. His tall and broad physique makes his presence felt in front of defenders who find it tough to deal with Akshay.

Rayan and Karan have previously played for Custom Boys in the First Division. Both players are athletic and good in the air. In the game against Khalsa Gymkhana, Karan was deployed as a center back and Rayan played in the right back position. Aniket plied his trade as a Goal keeper for MSSC in the season opener.
