Mumbai Strikers' Ruchi Shetty will lead the India U20 Rugby Women’s team in Hong Kong

It could not get better than this for Mumbai Strikers' Womens Rugby Team player Ruchi Shetty. She has been named as the captain of the country’s U20 Rugby Women’s team. After representing India at the junior & senior levels of the sport, this is her peak position for now. The Indian team will participate in the Asia Rugby U20 Rugby 7s Championship at Hong Kong. Also Mumbai Strikers' Gargee Walekar, who just returned from the recent Paris World Games, is also included in the squad travelling to Hong Kong.

Ex-India international & Current General Manager of Rugby India, Nasser Hussain with the assistance of Rehmuddin Shaikh will mentor the team for this tourney.
